Windham Mountain Club, formerly known as Windham Mountain, is widely considered a top destination for winter sports in the Hudson Valley and, earlier in 2023, ownership at the ski resort announced it secured investments from two development families: the Beall family, whose founding member created the restaurant chain Ruby Tuesday, and Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners, best known as the founding enterprise behind the Holiday Inn hotel chain. Now, Windham Mountain Club is better than ever thanks to luxurious additions and top-notch attractions that set it apart.

Although the circa-1960 ski resort still offers year-round activities to the public, they have added new, exclusive members-only amenities (this season the initiation fee is $175,000, plus annual dues. Club perks—without an extra fee—are available to members’ children age 35 or younger). Membership includes private locker rooms, on-call concierge, first tracks on skiing trails, access to the Windham Country Club, equipment valet for skiing at Windham Mountain, and priority reservations at the property’s restaurants as well as the spa.

A new spa and fitness center are also in the works, plus a redesigned golf course, a riverfront property, and horseback riding.
