Jewett

The town of Jewett was established in 1849 and provides a central location to both Windham and Hunter ski resorts. Rolling hills and scenic vistas make Jewett a wonderful place to put down roots. The town got its name from the former justice of the Supreme Court, Freeborn G. Jewett. Summers in Jewett including hiking state trails and swimming or boating Lake Colgate.
