Jefferson
Jefferson is the southwestern border town in Schoharie County. It was originally part of the town of Blenheim. It was historically known as Buttertown for its wealth of dairy farms. While farming is still a rich part of Jefferson’s existence, Jefferson is also known for its restaurants, creeks, streams, hiking, fishing, Heritage Day celebration, and Maple Museum. The rolling hills and proximity to Albany and Oneonta make it the perfect place to call home.
